Speech Title: On the k-dominant Skyline Problem

Abstract: Given a d-dimensional data set D, a point p dominates point q if it is better than or equal to q in all dimensions and better than q in at least one dimension. A point is a skyline point if there is no other point that can dominate it. The skyline problem is to output all the skyline points from D. The skyline points are useful in many decision making applications. Biography: Dr. Chetneti Srisa-An has been the Dean of College of Digital Innovation and Information Technology, Rangsit University, Thailand since 2014. He got his Ph.D. degree majored in Computer Science at Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, IL, USA in 1995. After his Ph.D. graduation, he worked as Technical Development Manager at Asia-Infonet Thailand CO.,LTD during 1995 – 1997. In 1997, he got his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Loyola University of Chicago, Chicago, IL, USA. During 2000 – 2002, he was Senior Software manager of E-commerce Department, United Airline, Chicago IL, USA. During 2011 – 2014, he was Deputy Managing Director (DMD) at Advanced Research Group Co., Ltd.
